We, as a community of Ukrainians in Northern Ireland want to thank the
Cookstown Primary School the pupils, their parents, teachers and everyone who joined the Fundraising day for Ukraine. Special thanks to the school principal Mr Mitchell and the teacher Mrs McErlane who initiated the idea and organized this event.
On the 14th of February 2023 they held a very special assembly lead by three Ukrainian girls who are now living in Cookstown, Northern Ireland. Two of them came here last year when the War in Ukraine began. They both wrote a personal story and shared it with other children.
During this day together they raised £1062.50 and decided to support our Community to buy an Ambulance for Ukraine.
