We would like to sincerely thank St Patrick's Church in Ballynahinch, Magheradroll Parish for organizing and supporting the exhibition “Icons on Ammo Boxes”.
On 28 February 2026 at 12:00, nearly one hundred people gathered at the Ulster Museum in Belfast for a peaceful commemorative event marking the fourth anniversary of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and standing in solidarity with Ukraine.
On 2-3 February 2026, Consulate of Ukraine in Edinburgh provided consular service to citizens of Ukraine in Northern Ireland for the fifth time. This became possible thanks to the close cooperation of the Ukrainian community in Northern Ireland with the Consulate of Ukraine in Edinburgh, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Northern Ireland and Ulster University.
Following a beautiful Christmas tradition, our Ukrainian carolers visited Ukrainian families across Northern Ireland with carols and New Year greetings, sharing joy, warmth, and a heartfelt sense of home.
Thanks to your donations we were able to collect money to purchase and sent to Ukraine the 9th ambulance and it already fulfils its important mission!
As part of Ukrainian Week in the UK, Queen's University Belfast hosted a conference to discuss the themes of historical memory, identity and belonging, with academic contributions. Participant were joined by representatives from the Ukrainian Government.
During the exhibition of Icons on Ammunition Boxes in Armagh, we were able to raise a total of £3 500 and 25€ to support humanitarian needs in Ukraine — £400 and 25€ in charitable donations and £3100 from the sale of icons.
On Friday 17 October 2025 the Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Alderman Stephen Moutray attended the Charity Exhibition & Art sale – Icons on Ammunition Boxes from Ukraine and met with some of Ukrainians in Northern Ireland.
