For us, the Ukrainians in Northern Ireland community group, it was a great honour to receive an invitation and attend events on the occasion of the Coronation of King Charles in Northern Ireland.
We were very pleased to communicate and hear words of support for Ukraine and Ukrainians directly from His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
We also had the honour to meet and talk a little about the activities and plans of our community with the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Chris Heaton-Harris.
Also, a special thanks to His Majesties Lord Lieutenant for Belfast Dame Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle DBE, Belfast City Council & the Lord Mayor of Belfast 2022-2023 Councillor Tina Black, Mayor of Belfast, the Lord Mayor of Armagh, Bаnbridge and Craigavon 2021-2022 Alderman Glenn Barr and the Lord Mayor of Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon 2022-2023 Councillor Paul Greenfield for the help and support of our community from the start of the war in Ukraine until now.
