The Ukrainians in Northern Ireland Community Group is actively engaged in discussions with local medical and health service organisations seeking their assistance in the provision of ambulances, medical equipment and other humanitarian aid.
A number of highly positive meetings have now taken place which has resulted in the following :
– a major health organisation generously provided us with a number of neonatal ventilation systems, which will be send to Ukraine with the recently acquired ambulance;
– additional medical equipment is expected to be donated shortly by other such organizations;
– all official documents are now signed and the ambulance handed over in readiness to be loaded with the medical supplies and equipment which will be transported to Ukraine;
– we have also positively engaged with other health organisations regarding the potential acquisition of additional ambulances, medical equipment and supplies etc.
