Community of Ukrainians in Northern Ireland and all those who help us have been going towards this event confidently for many months. We did street collections, received generous donations, made fundraising, wrote posts and emails, and searched for an ambulance, that can save lifes in Ukraine today. And finally, this day has come, and we have great news to share with all of you.
On the request from the Community of Ukrainians in Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) generously assisted in the supply of the ambulance to Ukraine.
We feel infinite gratitude to everyone involved – Alan Moore and NIAS, personally to Chief Executive, Michael Bloomfield; NIAS Chair, Nicole Lappin and others. Thanks for your help, concern, and active position towards this horrible war in Ukraine. The lives of Ukrainians will be saved, and it is priceless!
Special thanks for the present, which is a framed print of a painting, by one of NIAS paramedics. It represents hope for the future in the form of a rainbow and an angel who cares and protects us.
We will also spend the money raised by our community for medical equipment, to equip the ambulance and send it to Ukraine in the nearest future. We hope that this is only the beginning of our cooperation and in the future we together will be able to help medical staff in Ukraine save people’s lives.
Together we will win!
Glory to Ukraine!
