Ukrainians in Northern Ireland Charity is delighted to announce that our 10th ambulance has now been delivered to Ukraine, continuing our commitment to providing practical humanitarian assistance to those affected by the war.

This is the 10th ambulance and the 12th vehicle in total that our charity has sent to Ukraine.

The ambulance has been handed over and will be deployed to the area of greatest need, where it will support the medical retrieval and evacuation of severely wounded casualties. It will provide vital assistance in rescuing and transporting both civilians and defenders of Ukraine who require urgent medical care.

Another ambulance, another lifesaving mission

The delivery of this ambulance is another important milestone in our ongoing humanitarian work.

Each vehicle represents more than a means of transportation. In the reality of war, an ambulance can become a lifeline – helping medical teams reach wounded people, evacuate casualties and provide them with access to essential medical treatment.

We are proud that our community has once again been able to turn donations and fundraising efforts into direct, practical support for Ukraine.

Made possible by your generosity

The purchase of the 10th ambulance was made possible through funds raised by our supporters through several initiatives.

  • A significant contribution came from our participation in the #IconsonAmmoBoxes project, created by Ukrainian artists Oleksandr Klymenko and Sonia Atlantova, with project coordination in Scotland by Natalia Bezborodova and Spiders for Ukraine.
  • Funds were also raised through the 2026 Belfast City Marathon, held on Sunday, 3 May 2026,
  • as well as through many other generous fundraising efforts.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who donated, organised fundraising activities, participated in events and supported this initiative.

Every contribution helped bring this ambulance one step closer to Ukraine.

A community effort

The successful delivery of our 10th ambulance would not have been possible without the continued support of our community.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped us throughout this journey and everyone who continues to stand with Ukraine.

Your support, together with the generosity of many others, demonstrates the strength of international solidarity with Ukraine.

10 ambulances and 12 vehicles for Ukraine

With the delivery of this ambulance, our charity has now sent 10 ambulances and 12 vehicles in total to Ukraine.

This is an achievement we can all be proud of, but the work does not stop here.

The humanitarian needs created by the war remain enormous, and we will continue doing everything we can to support the people of Ukraine.

The 10th ambulance is now where it is needed most, ready to serve those who require urgent assistance.

We hope that its work will help save lives, support medical teams and bring injured people to safety.

Above all, this ambulance carries with it a message from our community: Ukraine is not alone.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our humanitarian efforts and to everyone who joins our community in helping Ukraine.

Together we are power!

Glory to Ukraine!
