As part of Ukrainian Week in the UK, Queen’s University Belfast hosted a conference to discuss the themes of historical memory, identity and belonging, with academic contributions. Participant were joined by representatives from the Ukrainian Government.

Participants engaged in the following expert panel discussions:

  • Historical Memory and the Affirmation of Ukrainian Statehood
  • Crimea as a Space of Struggle for Rights and Freedom

The conference concluded with the signing of an agreement for Queen’s to join the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies.
