On 07.06.2023, the Annual General Meeting of the “Ukrainians in Northern Ireland” community group was held.

The meeting was attended by about 30 people, mostly Ukrainians from various cities in Northern Ireland.

There also were Kyle Savage and Joanne McClelland – representatives of the non-profit organization TADA Rural Support Network, who ensured that the Annual General Meeting was held according to the rules of our Constitution and current legislation.

First, the chairman of our community Oleg Shenkaruk reported on the work done by our community and answered the questions. You can see the presentation of the report (in PDF format) at the following link:

Next, community treasurer Alina Zaruba reported the financial report and answered questions.

After that, re-elections took place, as a result of which Oleg Shenkaruk became the chairman of our community, Alina Zaruba became the treasurer, and Victoria Kovtun became the secretary.

A committee was also elected:

Anastasia Sakhnenko,

Vitaly Ostropytskyy,

Andriy Cherpanyak,

Kateryna Zaichyk,

Inna Shinkevich.

According to the rules of our Constitution, the Committee of the “Ukrainians in Northern Ireland” community group is 8 people. All those present who expressed their wish to actively help on an ongoing basis provided their contact details and we will contact them in the nearest future.
