The Chairman and representatives of the Ukrainians in Northern Ireland Charity were delighted to finalise negotiations with a Northern Ireland Government Department for the procurement of a redundant high spec Land Rover Discovery which will be exported to Ukraine to facilitate the medical retrieval and evacuation of severely wounded casualties from the battlefield in Eastern Ukraine.
The agreement on the procurement of this all-terrain vehicle was facilitated with the assistance of the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Northern Ireland together with senior representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in London and the Consulate of Ukraine in Edinburgh.
