We are deeply grateful for the incredible support and generosity of Jaycine Lester and her family in Georgia, United States, who raised £1,100 to support our charity’s mission of delivering ambulances to Ukraine.
Each year, her local community hosts an event where residents select a charity to support — and last year, Jaycine chose us. At their booth, they not only served delicious homemade Ukrainian varenyky (potato & cheese and sauerkraut) but also shared the story of Ukraine and our charitable work. Through food, conversation, and community, they brought our mission to life.
The event was filled with music, food, raffles, and heart. Jaycine’s table featured a beautiful sunflower-themed raffle basket and a hand-crafted pysanka made by Jaycine herself. She went even further by teaching six pysanka workshops — all to raise awareness and funds.
Her dedication, her family’s hard work, and the kindness of her community remind us that compassion knows no borders. From across the ocean, Jaycine is helping save lives in Ukraine.
