On 27 July 2022, with funds raised together with all of you, we purchased an off-road vehicle “Mitsubishi Shogun” UJZ 8079 through Auto Salvage LTD which cost £750 + £40 delivery.

£220 was spent on current repairs/servicing (undercarriage repair, oil and filter change, rear light replacement…).

Also, balancing £15 and wheel alignment £40 have been done.

On August 5, we received an e-mail from the civic non-profit organization “SC Olympic School”, Baryshivska town, Kyiv region, regarding the need for a vehicle.

A Zoom meeting was organized with the head of this school, G. Maslivets, and a collective decision was made to donate the vehicle to this organization.

So, on September 30, 2022, the first vehicle from our community went to Ukraine, where it will be used in the place of “greatest need”!!! We paid £213 for the ferry ticket and £500 allocated funds for fuel.

The “Mitsubishi” Shogun UJZ 8079 car that we sent earlier was successfully delivered to its destination and all humanitarian aid was also delivered to people in need.

Special thanks to the drivers Serhii and Roman for their responsibility in delivery and to Hanna Maslivets, the head of “SC Olympic Schools” for participating in the organizational process and providing a photo report from Ukraine.

In addition, we spent £304 on the necessary repairs in Ireland, and overpaid £38 on actual fuel checks.

The total cost is £2,120 including:

  • £750: the cost of the vehicle;
  • £40: delivery;
  • £579: repairs/servicing (£220+£15+£40+£304);
  • £751: transporting to Ukraine (£213 ferry + £538 fuel).

We are very grateful to everyone for their contributions and trust! Let’s move on!
