The Ukrainians in Northern Ireland were delighted to learn of today's meeting between the Alan Moore Honorary Consul for Ukraine and Northern Ireland with the Ambassador for Ukraine in the United Kingdom General Valerii Zaluzhnyi in London today

On 24th August, 2025, the annual multicultural festival Belfast MELA took place in Belfast, where Ukrainians in Northern Ireland proudly represented Ukrainian culture, and marked Ukraine’s Independence Day together.

On 24th August 2025, the Ukrainians in Northern Ireland marked the 34th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence. On the eve of this special day, we gathered at The Jethro Centre in Lurgan to feel our Strength, Spirit, and Faith, and to thank the people of Northern Ireland for their unwavering help and support.

We are deeply grateful for the incredible support and generosity of Jaycine Lester and her family in Georgia, United States, who raised £1,100 to support our charity’s mission of delivering ambulances to Ukraine.
