As part of Ukrainian Week in the UK, Queen's University Belfast hosted a conference to discuss the themes of historical memory, identity and belonging, with academic contributions. Participant were joined by representatives from the Ukrainian Government.
During the exhibition of Icons on Ammunition Boxes in Armagh, we were able to raise a total of £3 500 and 25€ to support humanitarian needs in Ukraine — £400 and 25€ in charitable donations and £3100 from the sale of icons.
On Friday 17 October 2025 the Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Alderman Stephen Moutray attended the Charity Exhibition & Art sale – Icons on Ammunition Boxes from Ukraine and met with some of Ukrainians in Northern Ireland.

On 24th August, 2025, the annual multicultural festival Belfast MELA took place in Belfast, where Ukrainians in Northern Ireland proudly represented Ukrainian culture, and marked Ukraine’s Independence Day together.
On 24th August 2025, the Ukrainians in Northern Ireland marked the 34th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence. On the eve of this special day, we gathered at The Jethro Centre in Lurgan to feel our Strength, Spirit, and Faith, and to thank the people of Northern Ireland for their unwavering help and support.
