On Friday 17 October 2025 the Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Alderman Stephen Moutray attended the Charity Exhibition & Art sale – Icons on Ammunition Boxes from Ukraine and met with some of Ukrainians in Northern Ireland.

Ukrainians in Northern Ireland would also like to thank the Dean for agreeing to display the icons in the Cathedral on Sunday, and the Cathedral Steward for helping with the display.
We are deeply grateful to @Armagh Robinson Library & No5 for opening its doors — and its heart — to host the Charity Exhibition & Art sale – Icons on Ammunition Boxes from Ukraine.
To date, £657.26 has been raised for the purchase of the icon of the Saviour. All of the money raised will go towards humanitarian aid in Ukraine. Armagh Robinson Library hopes to reach the target of £1,500 by Friday 24 October, the last day of the exhibition in the Library.
