The Ukrainians in Northern Ireland were honoured to meet with the Mayor of Derry City & Strabane District Council, Councillor Lilian Seenoi Barr, at a reception for Mr Alan Moore OBE TD DL in celebration of his appointment as the Honorary Consul for Ukraine in Northern Ireland. The reception was held on Friday 29th November 2024 in the Guildhall and was attended by members of the Ukrainian community in addition to representatives of the business community, Ulster University and the North West Regional College.
