Transferring of qualifications to Northern Ireland:
- https://www.enic.org.uk/ – UK ENIC is the UK National Information Centre for global qualifications and skills. Following the UK’s leaving the EU, the former UK NARIC recognition agency function changes from a NARIC (which is an EU-only title) to an ENIC (the wider European title for national recognition agencies) in order to meet the UK’s continuing treaty obligations under the Lisbon Recognition Convention.
- https://cpq.ecctis.com/ – The UK Centre for Professional Qualifications provides official advice and support for the recognition of international professional qualifications in the UK. We operate the UKCPQ on behalf of BEIS, the UK Government Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
- https://gtcni.org.uk – The General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI): Getting registered is a process based on an assessment of your teaching qualifications and a suitability assessment: https://gtcni.org.uk/registration/getting-registered . Every teacher that wants to teach in a grant–aided school in Northern Ireland must be registered with GTCNI. Assessment is based on the completion of an Application and submitting appropriate documentary evidence along with the Registration fee. All teachers who have been educated and trained outside the UK should use the Rest of World (RoW) Application form. Please note that you will be required to demonstrate that your teaching qualification meets both the academic and practice criteria equivalent to Initial Teacher Education programmes in Northern Ireland: https://gtcni.org.uk/cmsfiles/Registration/application-forms/row-graduate-app.pdf?v=2021
