A relay team from Ukrainians in Northern Ireland will take part in the 2026 Belfast City Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, 3 May 2026. Our nominated charity is “Ukrainians in NI” (Charity Registration Number: NIC109987).

Following our participation in 2025, we are proud to once again represent the Ukrainian community in Northern Ireland at this major sporting event.

Last year was not only about completing the мараthon distance — it was about making a real difference. Thanks to the dedication of our runners and the incredible support from our community, we successfully combined sport with purpose. Our efforts contributed to delivering vital humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including a high-spec Land Rover Discovery vehicle to support those working in challenging and dangerous conditions.

In 2026, we return with the same determination and an even stronger commitment.

Our team will once again run to:

  • represent and unite the Ukrainian community in Northern Ireland
  • raise awareness of Ukraine and its ongoing challenges
  • support further humanitarian and charitable initiatives

Taking part in the Belfast City Marathon is more than a race — it is a symbol of resilience, solidarity, and collective strength.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported us last year and invite you to stand with us again. Whether by cheering along the route, sharing our message, or contributing to our efforts, your support makes a real impact.

More details about our relay team, fundraising goals, and initiatives will be shared soon.

All contributions however large or small will make a significant impact in saving lives in Ukraine’s war zones. Please also come along on the day to support our runners and cheer them on.

We know you have many choices when it comes to donating. Times are tough everywhere, and we are deeply grateful if you chose to support us in providing security and relief to the people of Ukraine.

Your support can make a powerful difference as we continue to serve our community.

Thank you very much for your help and support from all Ukrainians!
