August, full of events, is waiting for us on the occasion to mark the Independence Day of Ukraine
Dear friends, we invite you to participate in the following events in Northern Ireland, which will be held this month.

19th August 2023:
Belfast will host the Carnival Mela, one of the most colorful and anticipated events held every year in Northern Ireland.
We together can present Ukraine at this event and demonstrate what a beautiful, bright and interesting nation we are.
What? When? Where?
Registration starts from 9.00 to 11.30. The parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. Registration will take place at 2 Royal Avenue, Belfast (the old Tesco building).

24th August 2023:
at 18:00 on the initiative of the administration of The Jethro Centre, which actively supports Ukrainians in Northern Ireland, an event is planned for the Independence Day of Ukraine in the city of Lurgan (Lurgan) at the Jethro Centre.
There will be a video presentation about our Ukraine, a photo zone, a presentation of Ukrainian cuisine (but here we need the help of Ukrainian ladies).
Please write in personal messages to Victoria Skoruk or Alina Zaruba, who can prepare Ukrainian dishes for the event and discuss the details.

26th August 2023:
The event for the Independence Day of Ukraine was initiated by YMCA North Down (Bangor).
Details of this event will be announced later, so stay tuned to our Facebook page and our web site.
27th August 2023:
Botanic Gardens Belfast will host the ✨Belfast Mela Festival – the city’s annual celebration of global cultures, where tens of thousands of visitors come together to showcase the diversity of cultures.
This year, Ukrainian culture will be presented at the Belfast Mela, where we will introduce Ukrainian traditions to the guests of this event. We invite you to our house, to visit our Ukrainian tent and to share the celebration of cultures.
The event will take place on 27th August 2023, from 12:00 to 18:00, in the Botanical Garden, Belfast.
Tickets must be purchased in advance via the link below. Family ticket costs £25.00, single ticket – £10.00, pensioners – £8.00
