Dear Ukrainians!
Please see attached leaflet about a new advice line for Ukrainian Nationals living in Belfast, that Belfast City Council and the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust are funding Red Cross to deliver. This service is available in Ukrainian, Russian and English.
This Tri-Lingual Ukraine Advice Line (English, Ukrainian and Russian languages) is for Ukrainians to contact with general enquiries, advice and support; it will not be providing legal advice. Ukrainians engaging in this service will be provided with culturally sensitive information on how to access mainstream services, with particular reference to health and social care services. This service will support Ukrainians to navigate services and access wrap around support in their own language, supporting long term integration.
All enquiries will be triaged accordingly in keeping with Refugee Support Safe Working Practices.
The service is available for Ukrainians residing in Belfast that arrived after March 2022 and is not available for sponsors or community/support organisations.
For other nationalities that have sought asylum in Belfast, we are also funding the Red Cross to deliver orientation and information sessions in the hotels where people are currently being accommodated.
