📅 Sunday, 24 August 2025: Belfast Mela is the city’s annual celebration of global cultures, where tens of thousands of visitors gather to enjoy the beauty and diversity of our world. The festival transforms Botanic Gardens into a magical global village, filled with the sights, sounds, and aromas of nations from across the globe 🌎. Music 🎷🎼, dance 💃🏼, art, and culture come together to create an uplifting atmosphere that welcomes the world into the heart of Belfast city.
This year, as in previous years, Ukrainians in Northern Ireland charity will proudly represent Ukrainian culture. We’ll share our traditions, history, and hospitality — and warmly invite you to visit our Ukrainian tent, celebrate cultural diversity, and mark Ukraine’s Independence Day together.
🤝 Special moment: At 14:00, we will join hands to form a Chain of Unity – a powerful symbol of Ukraine’s indivisibility and independence.
