For the third year in a row, Ukraine has been celebrating the Unity of Ukraine Day during a full-scale war. Our unity remains our main strength in resisting russian aggression and fighting for our independence, freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Unity is one of the cornerstones of the Ukrainian state. Throughout the centuries of our history, from the times of Rus’ to the Hetmanate, the Ukrainian People’s Republic, the liberation struggle of the twentieth century and modern independent Ukraine, Ukrainians have always won when they stood together and lost when discord prevailed.

The Day of Unification of Ukraine symbolizes national unity and the desire for freedom, and the significance of the Unification Act remains relevant today, 106 years later. Ukrainians want to live in a united, united and independent state.

We pay tribute to the memory of Ukrainian defenders who died for the freedom and unity of our country, and we thank all those who are defending Ukraine from russian invaders today.

We call on the Ukrainian global community to maintain unity and national identity, to work together to overcome russian aggression and restore a just peace. Through our joint efforts, Ukraine’s voice should be heard loudly and confidently in the international arena. Together we can ensure the preservation, restoration and development of Ukraine.

We appeal to every Ukrainian, no matter where they are in the world: each and every one of you is part of the great Ukrainian people, part of our united Ukraine.

Let us preserve our unity.
